Inspired by 50’s style armchairs, Fiftypop downplays their typical gravitas through the use of bright colours and more dynamic shapes. The upholstery fabric is panno casentino, an extremely resistant wool fabric dating back to the Etruscan age. The leather details for the piping and the armrest, the use of two different woods for the legs and the iron springs used to build the seating express the intrinsic value of a contemporary, comfortable and functional armchair.
Swing is a bench seat of an irregular shape and made of precious raw materials: copper, brass, Santos rosewood and nubuk leather of an extremely soft hand define this seat with a look that is sculptural, elegant and light. Swing is rhythm, movement and an idea of formal improvisation, which add up to a mix that is both elegant and fun.
Orchestra is a modular bookcase that expresses formal liberty. Made up of three elements in different sizes and depths, its simple geometry creates plays of volumes with great attention to details: the hand-crafted leather is slightly padded to confer a tactile feeling to this warm material.
Quartet brings three square leather modules down to floor level, originating a sideboard to display at the centre of the room thanks to the longitudinally arranged long wood grain of Canaletto walnut revealed by the back section. This, together with the use of leather, makes of Quartet a piece of furniture which is linear yet warm.
Copper, brass, nubuk leather and Santos rosewood are elected to create this exclusive furniture piece: the nubuck leather inlays of its door fronts, endowed with remarkable textural qualities and a most agreeable hand-feel, give a new interpretation to the inlay technique adding tactile values.
Made up of modular elements that may be arranged freely on the floor, Orizzonti represents a way of experiencing the space at “ground level”, with the added pleasure of being able to kick off one’s shoes. The upholstered modules are made of leather, while the flat modules acting like a rest surface are in Canaletto walnut.
Rhapsody represents the idea to revisit the most recognizable model of sofa, the almost archetypal English Chesterfield, to realize a comfortable yet equally precious day bed to pleasantly accompany moments of relaxation. This formal reference is clearly visible in the deep-button upholstery and the pleated effect of the armrests. Entirely hand crafted, it represents the highest expression of artisanal artistry.
